Change the World.
Change starts in our hearts. That's why loving God and loving others is so important. When we do those two things, it has a transformative effect, not only on us, but on the world we live in.
Loving words and actions
We're committed to living out the mandate given to us by Jesus: to make disciples of all nations. We strive to do this through loving words and actions that convey what Jesus is all about. There's really no other way to do it. Through the example of our lives, prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our hope is to change the world for the better.
A World in flux
With each passing day, the world around us is changing. Whether we like it or not, we experience those changes in countless ways, in our relationships, work, technology, social media, and the news. It seems like everything's in flux. Even the changing of the seasons is a reminder that, with few exceptions, nothing is constant.
Two Simple directives
So, what's our responsibility? What role do we have to play in the midst of a rapidly changing world?
Jesus answers that question by inviting us to love God and love others. At first, it may sound overly simplistic, but think about the difference those two simple directives have made over the last two thousands years.
Whenever Jesus's followers have wholeheartedly embraced his teaching, loving God and loving others without reservation, people's lives have been changed, made better. Our hope is that we will be the kind of church that makes the world a better place, one life at a time.
We invite you to join us as we love God, love others, and change the world. If you have questions about next steps, don't hesitate to contact us at (302) 738-4415 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We'd love to hear from you.
